Friday, August 25 vs. Los Angeles Angels @ 7:10 p.m.

The Mets will return from Atlanta and begin their eleventh homestand of the season on Friday with a three-game series against the Los Angeles Angels! Citi Field will be celebrating Japanese Heritage Night with a Spirit Award and Honorary First Pitch thrown by the Japanese Consulate General of New York. Actress and singer Ms. Rina Maejima will be performing the National Anthem. First Lieutenant Takeshi Furumoto will be honored as the Veteran of the Game and the Colts Neck Junior ROTC will present the Color Guard.

The first 15,000 fans in attendance will receive a voucher to redeem one (1) Kodai Senga Glow-in-the-Dark Ghost Fork Ball upon exit, courtesy of Hyundai! Distribution of the Fork Ball will begin at the end of the 3rd Inning upon exit at the Jackie Robinson Rotunda Gate only.

Saturday, August 26 vs. Los Angeles Angels @ 7:10 p.m.

Game two of the Mets’ three-game series against the Angels kicks off at 7:10 p.m. on Saturday. Citi Field will be celebrating Women’s Equality Day! The Mets’ own employee, Marly Mensher, will be performing the National Anthem.

Alexis Fontana and Olivia Feldman, stars of the Little League Softball World Series champions Massapequa 12U softball team, will throw the Honorary First Pitch. Fontana started in the championship game and Feldman pitched 3.1 no-hit innings of relief to bring New York their first ever Little League World Series championship victory.

Cameron Brink will throw the Honorary First Pitch. Brink, a Stanford Cardinal, just made history as the first-ever female basketball player on New Balance’s roster!

Captain Jessica Apgar will be honored as the Veteran of the Game. Captain Apgar served as a member of the United States Army from 2000–2006 and now works with the ACLU here in New York City.

Sunday, A­­ugust 27 vs. Los Angeles Angels @ 12:05 p.m.

The Mets wrap up their series with the Angels on Sunday at 12:05 p.m.! Citi Field will be celebrating Taiwan Heritage Day with a Spirit Award, Honorary First Pitch and National Anthem performance from cellist Kenneth Kuo. Jonathan Wibben will sing God Bless America during the Seventh Inning Stretch.

Major Jen-Jen Chen will be honored as the Veteran of the Game. Major Chen was deployed overseas as a clinical nurse, nurse practitioner and nurse administrator from 1992–2012.

We also encourage fans to arrive early for Sunday Funday, presented by Dunkin’! Join us at Mets Plaza (between the Jackie Robinson Rotunda and the Mets-Willets Point station) to play games, win prizes, get your face painted, dance to the DJ and more.

After the game, kids 12 and under can run the bases in the Mr. & Mrs. Met Dash, presented by Northwell Health (weather permitting).

Each Sunday home game, Hands-On Mets History will feature items from the museum collection outside of the exhibit cases for fans to experience them up-close and personal in the Mets Hall of Fame and Museum. From 9:35 a.m. — 12:05 p.m., the featured items will be Pete Alonso’s 2019 batting helmet from his record-breaking 42nd home run of the season and Francisco Alvarez’s cap from his first career home run in 2022. Be sure to stop by and check out these pieces of Mets history!

Monday, August 28 vs. Texas Rangers @ 7:10 p.m.

The Mets will kick off their second series of the homestand, a three-game matchup against the Texas Rangers, on Monday. Actor Hugh Coles, who is currently starring in Back to the Future: The Musical on Broadway, will throw an Honorary First Pitch, as will Country Artist Josh Ross. Tony-nominated actress Liz Callaway will perform the National Anthem and Patrick Schondebare will present the Color Guard. Major Richard Acevedo will be honored as the Veteran of the Game. Major Acevedo was stationed overseas as a member of the United States Army National Guard from 1982–2012, where he served as the communications officer for the Combat Aviation Brigade during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Sacred Heart Academy from Hempstead, New York will sing Take Me Out to the Ballgame during the Seventh Inning Stretch!

Tuesday, August 29 vs. Texas Rangers @ 7:10 p.m.

The Mets’ series against the Texas Rangers continues at 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday! Actress and singer Linda Bianchi will be performing the National Anthem and our friends from Audacy will be throwing the Ceremonial First Pitch. Technical Sargeant Brian Valor will be honored as the Veteran of the Game. Sargeant Valor served as a member of the United States Air Force from 1993–2005.

Looking for a fun night out with friends? Join us on August 29, at 4 p.m. to watch the Mets take on the Rangers at Citi Field. Wednesday, August 30 vs. Texas Rangers @ 6:40 p.m.

The Mets wrap up their series against the Rangers on Wednesday night! Upon arrival at the ballpark, the first 15,000 fans in attendance will receive an MLB Network Hat. Chaminade High School from Mineola will be throwing an Early First Pitch and performing the National Anthem. Dan Silverman, Big Game Sweeps Winner, will throw the Honorary First Pitch and actor and comedian Ronny Chieng will throw the Ceremonial First Pitch. Colonel Kevin Batule will be honored as the Veteran of the Game. Colonel Batule served in the United States Army from 1983–2011 and is a graduate of Chaminade High School!

Friday, September 1 vs. Seattle Mariners @ 7:10 p.m.

The Mets begin their third and final series of this homestand when the Seattle Mariners come to town on September 1! Citi Field will be celebrating an Evening of Chinese Culture with a Spirit Award, National Anthem Performance and Honorary First Pitch, as well as a performance of Take Me Out to the Ballgame during the Seventh Inning Stretch.

Furthermore, stick around after the game to watch a fireworks show presented by Toyota, and enjoy performances throughout the game by DJ Alizay!

Saturday, September 2 vs. Seattle Mariners @ 7:10 p.m.

The penultimate game of this homestand will kick off at 7:10 p.m. as the Mets take on the Mariners. Upon arrival, the first 15,000 fans in attendance will receive a Mets Corduroy Hat, presented by Citi.

Citi Field will be honoring Union Night with a Spirit Award, Early First Pitch and National Anthem Performance from Kyle Viverito. Friends from Caesars will be throwing an Honorary First Pitch and singer and songwriter Betty Who will throw the Ceremonial First Pitch. Colonel Herbert Plofsky will be honored as the Veteran of the Game. Colonel Plofsky served as a member of the United States Army from 1950–1952. He was then a 25-year employee of the Port Authority of New York!

Sunday, September 3 vs. Seattle Mariners @ 1:40 p.m.

The ninth and final game of this homestand kicks off at 1:40 p.m. on Sunday as the Mets close out their series with the Mariners. Citi Field will be celebrating Jewish Heritage with a Spirit Award, Honorary First Pitch and National Anthem performance by Shireinu Choir of Long Island. Michael Nussbaum will throw the Early First Pitch. Citi Field will also be honoring Childhood Cancer Awareness Day with a Spirit Award. Specialist Gary Glick will be honored as the Veteran of the Game. Specialist Glick served as a member of the United States Army from 1969–1972.

Each Sunday home game, Hands-On Mets History will feature items from the museum collection outside of the exhibit cases for fans to experience them up-close and personal in the Mets Hall of Fame and Museum. From 11:10 a.m. -1:40 p.m., we will be comparing the size of bases pre-2023 with bases from this season with a third base from Game 2 of the 2022 Wild Card Series when Pete Alonso hit his first postseason homerun with the second base from the Mets 2023 home opener.
